1931 Buick series 80 2 door opera coupe. This imposing coupe has the 5.6 litre straight eight engine, and there is a photographic record of the engine removed from the car and being refurbished. The car is incredibly original, and in time-warp condition. There is no rot on the car, or welding required, and the doors open and shut perfectly. The interior requires work, particularly the door cards, but the seats are good and the roof timbers and roof covering have been replaced. The car starts easily and the engine pulls strongly, the clutch works as it should and there is no undue noise from the transmission. The shock absorbers have been reconditioned and all the lights work.<br />
There are some old MOT"s with the car, the last one was in 2014.<br />
This is a very rare imposing car which subject to a good service could be used in its existing condition, or alternatively would make a fabulous basis for a full restoration. Please email for further information.<br />
