My 1939 Hudson 112 is for sale. Don"t want to sell it but I can"t see a time when I will have what is needed to put it back on the road where it deserves to be.

The 112 was the "baby" of the Hudson range with the smaller 175 c.i. engine in it with a HP rating of 21.6.

It is a UK built car so right hand drive of course. My car was registered in February 1939. Unfortunately the original registration had been sold before I got it.

I have known this car for many years and have owned it myself since 2006.

It"s currently not running but wouldn"t take much to get it going. Hasn"t run now for around 5 years. When it was running it was obvious the engine needed some tlc however I did use it on a regular basis for a while and had no problems with it

All it needed to get it through its first MOT were the King Pins replacing. Brakes will need looking at ; I have a complete set of wheel cyilnders and a new master cylinder as well.

Exterior needs paint ; the photos show what is needed.

Interior is okay ; it was redone around 12 years ago - not by me. Problem was that a fortune was spent on the interior with no thought to renewing the shot window rubbers and guess what happens when it rains ... I have a set of window rubbers waiting to be fitted

Headliner appears to have been new but has holes in it. Generally the interior is still okay but around the rear windows it will need to be replaced.

I have a set of "proper" headlamps for it that just need to be finished off and fitted to the car

I will accept cash or cheque for it however with a cheque the money will need to be cleared funds in my account before the car goes ; that applies to Building Society cheques as well I"m afraid.

Car will need to be trailered away of course.

I"m not interested in p/x ; if I could afford to sort my car I would - I can"t which is why I am selling it.

I really don"t want to sell it so I"m not going to go let it go for silly money ; come and talk to me. There is some movement in what I am asking and what I"d let it go for.
