Awesome customized pickup with 509bhp supercharged 5.0 V8; paintwork by the same man who did Donald Trump"s helicopter! Shouts loud enough to wake the dead!

Built by a previous American owner, based on a 1946 Ford Pickup but with a strengthened chassis to cope with the extra power from the 509bhp supercharged 5-litre Ford V8. The engine was built to a very high standard using many trick parts and a sophisticated electronic management system, the whole lot being dynamically balanced as detailed in copious notes on file.

The auto transmission uses a rare magnesium-cased Ford C-4 box, uprated to race spec by Maryland Performance Center with a custom-built torque converter and B&M Pro Ratchet shifter. The brakes and suspension have also been suitably uprated, all the modifications are detailed in a spec sheet.

The all-steel body (with GRP running boards) was painted using a flaming lilac design created by Thom Taylor of Laguna Niguel, California (His next job was to transform the helicopter owned by President Trump!) The load area is decked in White Oak with polished stainless steel trim strips.

A bespoke Mulberry tweed interior features a polished ali dash panel and a range of VDO gauges. NHRA approved electrical kill switches are fitted inside and outside the vehicle along with NHRA approved fire extinguishers.

Recently imported to the UK, it has a USA Certificate of Title and a NOVA reference confirming that all duties have been paid so getting it UK registered should be straightforward with the requisite DVLA form.
