1948 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan ...WOW!!<br />

This incredible Cadillac has just arrived with us from Southern California where it was formerly displayed at the infamous San Diego Automotive Museum as part of the Harley Earl "Fins and Wings" exhibition.<br />
<br />
Made when Cadillac truly was "The Standard of the World", the 1948 models are highly collectable..... last year of the legendary 346ci side-valve V8 engine and the first appearance of the Lockheed P38 Lightning inspired tail fins that launched a revolution in automobile styling. <br />
<br />
We think this is an unrepeatable example of a 48 Cadillac, and probably the finest Series 62 sedan in the world. Very well known celebrity car in the Los Angeles area with wonderful pedigree having also been featured in several Hollywood Movies! This 48 Cadillac is simply breathtaking and would be a fantastic addition to any collection.<br />

Condition<br />
Fabulous throughout with absolutely stunning looks. Flawless jet black coachwork and dripping with perfect triple plate diamond chrome and beautiful Kelsey Hayes chrome spoked wheels. A true Southern California original with super straight body panels and zero rust free from day one. Fabulous interior finished in sumptuous grey Connolly leather with unmarked Wilton carpets. Wonderful Wurlitzer style dash is stunning and reeks of pure quality. This car really was some statement in 1948. Absolutely fabulous and simply jaw-dropping. <br />

Mechanical<br />
Professionally maintained for years with no expense spared. Off the button and totally reliable. Automatic transmission is like silk and there is not so much as a wheel bearing noise on this car. Has new brakes, tyres, exhausts, suspension, battery etc all clearly visible. It runs and drives fantastic, has a beautiful sounding powerful V8 and simply stops traffic wherever it goes. <br />
