Fresh import 1949 Dodge Coronet Convertible that is running a 318 v8 (5.200cc petrol) coupled to a smooth changing automatic gearbox. The body work is in good solid condition and the paint is ok (looks great from 5ft away). I think the car has had a chassis change at some time and at my guess it is fitted on a chevy S10 chassis so drives more modern. It comes with power steering, power brakes with disc"s at the front and drums on the rear.It has a nice tone dual rear exiting exhaust system. The interior has been reupholstered at sometime in cream which complements the exterior and is still in good condition. It will need tyres before driving on the road I never changed them as in my opinion the wheels look to modern for the car. The hood is tatty but still usable<br />

This Dodge Coronet needs a little love and care with a bit of tinkering you will have a cool ride that looks a real eye full and if you think you want a nice large convertible cruiser that needs a little work then this car is for you as you don"t see them come up for sale very often !!!<br />

This is a really good priced rare big convertible car that with a little work you can jump in and use the way it is. These classic American cars are like money in the bank at the moment if you look after them they are going up in value every year. <br />

Please remember that this Coronet is 70 years old so it is not perfect but it is a car that has loads of potential you can drive anywhere and is at a good price !!!!<br />
I may take a part exchange but please don"t over price your car because you can"t afford mine<br />
