1948 oldsmobile futurmatic convertible 562 uxo<br />
i am selling my 1948 olsdmobile convertible that i have owned for 13 years now and i imported it from the sunshine salt free state of california (boca raton)<br />
it is a fabulous car and has served me extremely well over the 13 years and it has had a complete engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild and has had new battery fitted and annual servicing and routine maintenance performed<br />
it is finished in old english white with original beige velour bench seating and matching door cards and also benefits from beige wool carpeting front and rear<br />
it has a coffee mohair electric soft top that is hydraulically operated and goes up and down without and major issues<br />
the engine is superb and fires into life at the first time of asking and the autoamtic gearbox pulls effortlessly through the gears<br />

its chrome is excellent all round and shines up beautifully<br />
the tyres are also in very good condition and all other ancillary items are above average for its year<br />

mechanically, the 1948 oldsmobile futurmatic 98 was virtually identical to its predecessor, except that an increase in the compression ratio from 6.5:1 to 7.0:1 upped the horsepower from 110 to 115. <br />
