1948 Pontiac Silver Streak Deluxe<br />
The car has been totally restored off the chassis. It is a rare straight 8 flathead Hydromatic. Attention to detail from small items when restoring like new rubbers from door handle to key hole mould. <br />
The car has been converted from the 6volt to new 12volt n new fuse box. <br />
Interior has been refurbished in Alcanta that is used in super cars. <br />
New Fuel Thank, 5 White Walls tyres, steering wheel had total restoration. Had lots rechroming done and all stainless steel highly polished.<br />
The car has won trophies from Best in 1940"s<br />
Best in show. In a few papers. Came 2nd out 600 cars. The some play in the steering box. <br />

Not my style, but looks lovely. Got to love how the manufacturers back then tried to make them aerodynamic without having the benefits of wind tunnels and computer modelling we do today.
