This is the stunning top of the range Buick from 1949. Featuring the fabulous "Million-dollar wide smile" grill and wonderful Bomb-sight mascot, the 49 Buick is widely regarded as one of the best looking cars to emerge from the Fabulous Forties. The US public went crazy for Buick"s first all new post-war body style and demand for this model was so high production was scaled up from 2 manufacturing plants to an incredible 5. Recently arrived fresh from desert dry Southern California, this is a beautiful rare and unmolested Roadmaster!<br />

Stunning looking car from every angle. Excellent paintwork with a good shine and deep lustre. Beautiful chrome bumpers are perfectly straight and rust free with NO dings. All brightwork is in excellent condition and that fabulous grill is perfect! There is not one broken or missing badge on this car and all stainless body mouldings are straight. Gorgeous Buick hubcaps with stainless beauty rings and white white wall tyres look fantastic!<br />

Interior is in beautiful original condition with no rips or tares.....amazing for a 1949 car! Superb original seating with perfect headlining and excellent original doorcards. Lovely unmarked black carpets. Dash is stunning and was a real luxury appointment in 49. All instruments and gauges work great. All glass is in excellent condition with no de-lamination or cracks, stone-chips or wiper scratches. Boot is immaculately trimmed with correct spare wheel and white wall tyre, full Carcraft cover included too!<br />

Please note that his Roadmaster is a proper bone-dry desert car and genuine survivor, not to be confused with welded-up tired examples. This is a genuine life-long Los Angeles car it is completely rust free with a rock solid original underside and body. All body-mounts, inner sills, floor pans and trunk floor are perfect original and rot free. The body is straight and has not sustained any accidents in its almost 70 year history! Try find another this good!<br />

Buicks were a real quality item in the 1940"s and are wonderful to drive. This is the top of the range model so it has the powerful 320ci big series Straight 8 engine. Rebuilt approx 2005, it runs superb with excellent power with great oil pressure. The Dynaflow automatic is smooth and effortless making this car so much better to drive than other cars from the 40"s. This is a big car but it has really excellent brakes and great stopping power! This Roadmaster is super-reliable and has been well maintained to factory specification with recent new exhaust, tyres, master cylinder, fuel pump and battery!<br />
