1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible<br />

Rust free California Car<br />
Car came to Europe in 2011, the year correct 331ci motor and Hydramatic transmission were rebuilt at that time.<br />
Brakes were all rebuilt with new master and wheel cylinders.<br />
All new hydraulic cylinders and hoses for the convertible top, windows and seat.<br />
New stainless steel exhaust system<br />

I brought the car to the UK just over a year ago and have fitted new radial tyres, a new canvas convertible top with glass back window, new door and trunk rubbers, the carb has been cleaned and set up, new AC Delco spark plugs, new Optima Red Top 6 volt battery.<br />
The trunk has been retrimmed in the factory correct material.<br />

The body on the car is really nice and straight, no rust, underneath the car is superb, really nice original floors and rockers with no signs of repairs.<br />
The black paint is older, last done around 1990, mostly ok with some minor blemishes.<br />
The seats and door panels were redone 5 years ago, rest of interior is mostly original.<br />
Most of the chrome and trim on the car is original except the front bumper and headlamp rings which have been redone.<br />
The car has a gentle original patina to it, it hasnt been apart in the restoration sense, just preserved and kept up together, i like it how it is but you could take it further cosmetically.<br />

The car is a solid reliable driver that can be used as is and improved a little as you go, it runs great and drives well for its age<br />
