Lovely lovely untouched, unmodified 1949 GMC150 Pickup truck. Please note this is NOT a barn find project, it has until my purchase been tagged in the US and used as a daily driver <br />
This is effectively a GMC badged Chevy 3600 , many parts are interchangeable but all are easily available<br />
Personally I think the GMC grill/front end is far cooler than the Chevy version<br />

Original 228 cubic inch 6 cylinder OHV engine(full oil pressure motor, not chevy splash lube version)<br />
<br />
3/4 ton long bed so great to haul your Harley about <br />
<br />
4 on the floor manual transmission,1st gear granny<br />
<br />
Original 6 volt electrics<br />
<br />
All lights work<br />
<br />
Gauges work with the exception of the speedo which is stuck<br />

Vacuum wipers work<br />

Original blue paint complete with 67 years worth of dings and dents<br />

Very good interior, untouched uncut dash. <br />

All cab glass in good undamaged condition just fitted new driver side glass and rubber seal<br />

All parts are readily and easily available both in the US and here in the UK, and are inexpensive too.<br />

This is a super find, it is an Idaho truck so has spent its life in the higher altitudes where the air is thinner with less humidity and is mostly rust free as a result. It has spent the last 10 years with its last owners used as an extra vehicle for running errands <br />
<br />
Now please note this is a numbers matching original truck. It is a running driving turn key truck and not a major project. It starts and runs without fault, it does not burn oil and emit any smoke, it is a very nice healthy engine in good order. The truck drives as it should and stops as it should.<br />

These trucks in this condition are becoming increasingly difficult to find now, particularly original examples such as this, it has everything going for it, it"s a proper solid truck that you can jump in and use as it is.<br />
<br />
The truck obviously has its original US Title and import paperwork but will be UK registered when sold with a number plate and V5 reg document too.<br />
