1950 Ford Saloon Fordor model.<br />
This is the higher spec version being the Custom.<br />
I purchased this about 19 years ago from the person that imported it into the UK.<br />
It came from California. I liked it because it hadn"t been messed with.<br />
It is 67 years old and it does have some body rust.<br />
It has a good chassis and good running Flathead V8 engine with a 3 speed overdrive gearbox.<br />
It looks like the type of car that had been owned by one person for most of its life. Through its years it has collected some character dents and scrapes.<br />
I have always kept it garaged, and used occasionally when the mood takes me.<br />
It is all up and running, and when mots were required it passed.<br />
These are great for spares, anything I have needed has been easily available from the US. Parts are not expensive.<br />
It will at some point need repairs to the floors and sills, but you can use it as it is.<br />
It goes pretty well for its age and keeps up with modern traffic. Pretty comfy vehicle as well, front and rear bench seats comfortable seating 6.<br />
