Car confirmed to be a Champion model<br />
3 different Champion models Custom Starlight Coupe, Deluxe Starlight Coupe and the Regal Deluxe Coupe<br />
It was thought originally that the car was a Custom, but since further research by the Studebaker Club Chairman, it would appear that the car is a Regal Deluxe Starlight Coupe. <br />
18 years ago: Out of these 3 models, it is estimated by the Studebaker Club, USA, that there are less than 3,000 of these vehicles worldwide, in total, between all three models. <br />
There will no doubt be much less now.<br />

Yes, it is of great historical interest. Very few have survived. Not only is the vehicle nearly 70 years old, but many of the Coupes fell into the hands of hotrodders, therefore met their demise rather quickly.<br />
