An incredibly rare opportunity to acquire an XK120 once owned, enjoyed and rallied by Sir Stirling Moss
A milestone for Jaguar, the XK120 had achieved monumental success on and off track and quickly became one of the most desired motor cars of its time. It was never the intention for the XK120 to be a volume production model but with its beautiful shape, fast speed and strong endurance, the XK120 would be produced into three different body styles, the Fixed Head Coupe, being one of them.
This example offered by Fiskens has an exemplary history having been loaned to esteemed racing driver and champion, Sir Stirling Moss in 1952. During this time Moss had been leading the Jaguar team as a works driver and would use the XK120 as his personal car to travel in-between races abroad during the 1952 Racing Season. As evidenced by a photograph held in the XK120"s history file, Moss would be presented chassis no 679282 by Jaguar Chairman Sir William Lyons, the XK120 would hold the registration of LVC 345 which it still holds to this very day. The history file contains the rather special original registration book signed by Moss himself.
