1954 desoto powermaster station wagon (s20)<br />

inline chrysler 6 cylinder 251 cu/in (4.1l) flathead.<br />
powerflite 2 speed automatic transmission.<br />
a very rare car with a total production run of only 225 vehicles.<br />
there were 75,610 desoto cars built in 1954.this station wagon is the only one in the uk i am led to believe and a rare car in the states also.it has been mostly re chromed and there is a lot of that famous grill.the fulton visor has been recently fitted and new wheels and hubcaps. It"s had a new cloth wiring loom and stainless exhaust front to rear,factory power brakes and steering.the car had a restoration ten years ago in the states to original specification and still shows well.it does have a few age related marks,chips and scars but holds itself well,recently winning a few shows in different categories even best chrysler at "rally of the giants" <br />
the rear window glass has a crack but is flat,it winds down to access the tailgate,the rear seats all fold flat to make a very large flat floor that you can then carry most items or sleep in if you wanted at a show or weekend....i have !<br />
the car came out of "gas monkey garage " in texas and is even signed by richard rawlings in the glovebox.<br />
so be different ....it still has loads of scope.<br />
