Hello and Welcome 
Firstly I would like to put this little paragraph up for anyone new to this scene and wanting to get into it. I have been in connection with these fast becoming fashion icons for the past 4-5 years, taking my time to study the market and prices on these desirable mainstream vehicles, in that time I have imported around 25 classic vehicles. They are all sourced from the dry states such as California and Texas with minimal to no rust.

A BIT ABOUT THE 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR 
 
 
The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is without a doubt one of the most iconic American cars of the 1950s. Starting production in 1950, the Bel Air would premier at the height of the Chevrolet model range going under the name Deluxe Bel Air. However, by 1953 would mark the first year that the Bel Air was designated as its own series, and as a result sported newly designed front nose and rear tail, as well as re-styled body panels. The 1953 and 1954 models would remain largely unchanged, however their design bridged the gap between the 1955 and 1957 models, which would become cultural icons. 
1955 marked the year that a V8 engine would be available to the Bel Air line. The new V8 at 165 cubic inches would produce 162 hp and 180 hp when ordered with a four-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust. Fittingly that with this new V8 the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 that year would be a Chevy Bel Air convertible. 
 
Best recognized by the general public due to their distinctive styling, the 1957 Chevy Bel Air would take the world by storm. With a wheelbase of 115 the new Bel Air was almost 2.5 inches longer, and nearly 2 inches lower than it s predecessor. Inspired by fighter jets, Chevrolet wanted consumers to know they were behind the wheel of something nearly supersonic. The quarter panels for this year, were inspired by the tail section of an F-86 fighter jet, while the distinctive headlight bezels were designed to emulate jet engine intakes. While the 265 V8 was still available, this sport coupe is equipped with the more desirable 283 cubic inch V8. Fitted with a four barrel carburetor and dual exhaust, it is more than capable of staying ahead of modern traffic

THIS 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR 2DR PILLARLESS SPORTS COUPE UNDERWENT A FULL FRAME OFF RESTORATION IN THE EARLY 2000"S, THE FRAME / CHASSIS HAVE BEEN NICELY POWDER COATED GLOSS BLACK, NEW NUTS AND BOLTS, NEW INTERIOR TRIM AND ALL ELECTRICS REWIRED AND A NEW 12V ALTERNATOR SYSTEM HAS RECENTLY BEEN ADDED. 
THE CAR STARTED OUT AS A 6 CYLINDER MODEL, BUT A NICE POWERFUL 1964 CHEVROLET IMPALA 327 5.4 V8 WAS DROPPED IN, NICELY PAINTED, AND DRESSED ORIGINAL LOOKING, IN KEEPING WITH THE 57"S AGE MAKING IT LOOK VERY FACTORY FITTED. 
IT HAS A NEWLY REBUILT MUNCIE M20 4 SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX, WITH A HURST GEAR LINKAGE SHIFTER AND BALL GEAR KNOB ON TOP, THIS REALLY DOES ADD FUN TO DRIVING THIS CAR AND, HAVING THE 4 GEARS, IT MAKES CRUISING AT 60-70 MPH FEEL EFFORTLESS AND DOSENT LEAVE THE ENGINE REVVING ITS HEART OUT. 
ALL GAUGES AND SPEEDO WORK FINE (YES INCLUDING THE FUEL GAUGE). THERE ARE NEW EXTRA GAUGES ADDED TO KEEP MORE OF AN ACCURATE READING TO THE CARS ENGINE TEMP AND OIL PRESSURE. 
THE 57 HAS A COMPLETE ORIGINAL UNCUT DASH WITH ALL ITS FACTORY GAUGES / CLOCK / DASH TRIMS AND RADIO STILL IN TOP CONDITION, ALL BACKING LIGHTS WORK (INCLUDING THE CLOCK AND INTERIOR LIGHT WHEN YOU OPEN AND CLOSE THE DOORS). 
IT ALSO HAS ITS FACTORY BENCH SEATS THAT FOLD ALLOWING ACCESS TO THE REAR BENCH SEAT. 
WINDOWS ALL GO UP AND DOWN AS THEY SHOULD IN THEIR RUNNERS WITH NO PROBLEMS. DOOR RUBBERS / TRUNK RUBBERS AND WINDOW FELTS ARE ALSO IN GREAT SHAPE. THERE IS NO RATTLING FROM ANY OF THE WINDOWS WHEN THE CAR IS DRIVEN AT HIGHER SPEEDS. 
BODYWORK AND SHEET METAL IS IN GREAT SHAPE. NO HOLES IN FLOOR PANS / FOOT WELLS OR BOOT FLOOR, AND THE LAST 2 INCHES OF THE BOOT FLOOR ARE ALSO IN TOP CONDITION AS MOST RUST OUT. 
NEW 12V ELECTRIC WINDOW WIPER MOTOR CONVERSION KIT HAS BEEN FITTED FOR THE LOVELY UK WEATHER
