Great lived in patina on the body and paint, mostly original paint and interior. Car was in California for most of its early life, i have its original "Black Plates" from the sixties, it was parked up around 1974 for twenty odd years, it then moved around the USA changing hands between collectors before coming to the UK a couple of years back
Very little on the car has been touched or changed, you can tell from the fit of the hood and trunk, the exterior trim, bumpers etc and the the way the doors shut the car hasn"t been apart, the headlamp trims fit perfectly with no gaps, repro ones just dont fit like this, it even still has its original 1957 T3 headlamps fitted! Inside the its very original, the original seats are in amazing shape. The carpet is new, being a 210 it probably had rubber floor originally. The sunvisors, door armrests and sill trims have been renewed but i have all the originals.
Starts first time, runs well, drives well, surprisingly spritely, I"ve been using it daily the last few weeks and it"s lots of fun, it"s no hot rod but it keeps up with modern traffic around town fine. It would be a crime to restore this car, they are only original once, maybe drop in a period small block V8 and leave the rest, it has the makings of a great sleeper.
I think you would struggle to find a more solid, unwelded, unmolested Tri Chevy, the floors on the car are amazing. The body has a few minor dings and scratches and one small hole at the bottom of the left front fender, other than that its rock solid, scroll down past the description for detailed pics and video. Great looking car in original Sierra Bronze and Adobe Beige, being a Two Ten model with steels and dog dish caps, black wall tyres it stands out in a sea of Bel Airs
I only buy cars I like and want to enjoy, if I get a good offer I sell, if not I"m happy to keep enjoying it, I don"t need the money or the space and I probably won"t sell it to you if I think you"re going to ruin it
