1958 Ford Ranchero fitted with a 352 5.8 V8 Thunderbird Special and 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in original two-tone Seaspray Green and Frost white with Green and White Textured and Whipcord Embossed Vinyl bench seats with matching carpeting, interior and dash and period white-wall tyres.<br />

In 1957 Ford came up with the idea of producing a vehicle that you could take pigs to market on a weekday yet drive to church on Sunday. Unlike other truck based pickups Ford based the Ranchero on their full-sized station wagon platform to give car-like drivability and comfort. <br />

This ex-California car has just recently undergone a full professional repaint in its original factory colours and presents in lovely overall condition. <br />
<br />
A striking car and you can see the styling inspiration in the 4 headlamp configuration that Ford took from their Thunderbird range at the time. A perfect classic for those trips out to local shows and country days out and the pickup bed would be great for picnics and carrying all that barbecue or camping gear about!<br />

Awaiting pre-sales checks and the fitting of new door weather seals. Has just been to our engine specialist for tuning and will be supplied fully serviced. Not yet registered with the DVLA but the original California Title and NOVA are with it ready to be registered in the name of the new owner.Tax exempt of course and being pre-1960 does not require an MOT.<br />
