This is my "59 Fleetside, I bought it nearly 18 months ago off a guy who had spent 9 years restoring it but had a change of heart, so I had it as my daily driver since then and loved every mile which is probably over 6,000 so far....
It had every panel blasted and proper old fashioned red lead primer applied, its so far had these new parts since construction:
New Posie lowering springs
All window rubbers, felts, screen rubber seals, door seals etc
6 stud alloy hubs, new front wheel bearings, callipers, discs and pads etc
2 new batteries
Sun visor
Starter motor
Interior carpet
Fully sound deadened cab floor with Dynamat style matting and insulating underlay
4 Whiteband tyres
Starter motor
Window Regulators

It has been built to a very nice driver standard so although its not a show truck it wouldn"t take a lot to get it there, could do with a couple of wiring jobs finishing off as loom has been adjusted a couple of times to fit the current engine which is a 3.3 Nissan Patrol NA diesel straight 6 which sounds so much better than you could imagine! Also fitted is the same 5 speed manual box which has been adapted for 2WD. The original vehicle would have been 24 volt so this has 2 batteries and a 70A 24 to 12 volt reducer which means charging is certainly not an issue, it starts right up every time!

Theres a few stonechips around it, the bonnet hinges are slightly worn so with those replaced the bonnet will be a perfect fit, the doors are a tight fit because of the new rubbers but will relax in time, inner cab corners were done in a hurry one evening so could do with being done again at some point to make them perfect but they"re fine for now.
She does drive really nice for an old farm truck, far better than our suburban of similar age and although its not exactly fast it does return 45 mpg on a run and 35 - 40 around town, the wood in the bed is over 50 year old Teak from a forces officers table and the planks are an inch thick so plenty strong enough, and as you can see in the pics are a gorgeous finish. She"s been done in the moon eyes colours and looks super sweet lowered on Caddy caps with moon discs being an option or just taking the decals off of the doors, whichever look you prefer.

Not desperate to sell but need the funds for our other cars, this will be the last one to sell now as keeping the others but I think the 13,950 price tag is very sensible for the condition and look of a truck this pretty.
