Running and driving car requiring some restoration<br />
Car starts right up, runs and drives well. I"ve had the rear wheels off this week and the brakes look to have recently been done. The car has Pertronix ignition and leads fitted<br />
Paint was done 7/8 years ago but car has been sitting outside and has a few minor blemishes, overall the paint is fine and would get away with a few local blow ins. The chrome has some tarnish here and there but is usable. Under the car the floor pans look original, I haven"t had it on a lift, it appears mostly solid but there are some areas of surface corrosion I can see and I"ve taken a few pics, I would recommend viewing to satisfy yourself of condition.<br />
Inside the car the interior looks quite original. The front need repair on the side bolsters but the black brocade inserts are ok, whilst the cover is off being repaired I would also replace the foam as well. The dash area could do with some tidying.<br />
With nice examples making 35k now this is a great way to get into 59 Cadillac Coupe ownership, an easy mostly cosmetic restoration will add value to the car.<br />
