1959 Ford Ranch Wagon<br />

People get excited about fast Fords made 25 years ago but seriously if you want an exotic Ford maybe you just found it!<br />

These are pretty rare, and to find one that"s this solid is not an easy feat. The car spent it"s formative years in Arizona. It probably lay in a junk yard for years after. Somehow it found it"s way to Upstate New York. I bought it off a guy there back in 2015 and imported it to the UK.<br />

The car was made in California and is a 4.8 litre V8 Manual. It"s a three on the tree and pulls well. It"s definitely no slouch! The gears take a bit of getting used to but it"s very satisfying to drive once you do. It also has power steering which is nice. I wouldn"t fancy parking it without.<br />

Everyone smiles, waves or just stands in disbelief when you drive by. You also get questions like... are you going to restore it? or my personal favourite... Who you gonna call?? <br />

I did some restoration work in New York, some more in Splisby, Lincs and then sold it to a friend in Grimsby who did most of the restoration/recommissioning.<br />
