1962 Lark Convertible
- 259ci V8 with 4 speed manual transmission. This is a fantastically original California car complete with sunburnt interior and an Earl Scheib paint job.
There are two small spots of rust on the car and apart from that the car is an ideal light restoration project, or ideal to drive as is. This is a running and driving car as it sits. The motor is very powerful and shifts well with the very desirable manual transmission.
The cragar mag wheels have been removed and replaced with genuine Studebaker wheels with good used white wall tyres and full width hupcaps. Before shipping I had a new convertible hood and dual exhaust installed, plus obtained a set of factory individual bucket seats to replace the bench seat.
This car comes with a a lot of parts not pictured here that I have had for many years. Most importantly, I have a genuine New Old Stock interior in Blue and White for this car. This included, all seat covers, door trim panels, dash pad, boot, steering wheel and carpets. Also included is a new windscreen, fill set of door rubbers and other useful parts totalling many thousands of dollars. This car is an easy restoration, with the added bonus of a factory correct interior that is not available, so you can make a 100% original restoration, instead of a restoration where you grab any old thing and chuck it on a car and basically spoil it. Unlike Fords and Chevs, interiours are not available in reproduction form that are 100% genuine.
All European EU duties and taxes have been paid.
