Ok, a moment of madness. For Sale 1964 Buick Wildcat, fitted 455 (dated 1970 believed to be from a Toronado so 375 HP minimum, 510 lb ft) with Holley carb, Edelbrock torker manifold. I"ve replaced starter motor, clutch, pressure plate, release bearing (hydraulic) and clutch master cylinder. Brake master cylinder, all wheel brake cylinders, brake hoses, rear hub seals and brake shoes. Car has aftermarket a/c, I"ve had to remove the belt as it was too narrow and was screeching like a bastard. Tyres are all fresh white band Hankooks. Chrome is very excellent, paint is a 5 footer but respectable. Interior is very good and I believe she"s a genuine 25000 mile car by looking at the wear on switchgear, dash and seats etc. though with a different engine it means nothing other than the rest of the running gear isn"t worn out. Heater core was disconnected and on testing leaked into the footwell. The car came from New Mexico via Vegas so they didn"t need the heater. I have a replacement heater core to go in but haven"t done it yet. Fitted twin electric fans. That"s about the gist of it. Starts first time on automatic choke and drive off. Drives well, coil suspension all round big finned drums, stops well and has a lot of poke. Being a manual it"s actually pretty good on fuel. No rust as it came from a hot state. MOT was in September I think. 15950 or offers May P/X up or down for something interesting or older. I have tons of still photos, videos on YouTube search 1964 Buick Wildcat.
