Genuien sprint for fast road/track car all modifications where connissioned by accumplished track/hill climb driver John Atkins of AC Cobra fame (JA5) and obscene amount of money and time has been spent to make this falcon go, handle as well as it does. fitted period paxton supercharger CES POWER LTD built 289 V8, 5 bolt forged trw pistons, boss rods, 312-350 main caps and steels straps, larger stailess steel valves, flowed 302 heads roller rockers, solid lifter cam, baffiled sump, holley 4 barrel double pumper, compartion fuel pump, dynamo replaced by altermator, 3" stainless steel twin exhaust, detailed 3 page parts/labour print out on engine build, including dyno readout of 350bhp, engine covered approx 4,000 miles since build, 5 speed T5 box with heavy duty quaife internals, new HLX 70-4710 clutch recently fitted, lowered suspension, given the perfect stance, rose jointed links and panard rod, detroit locker, australian flacon 1972/3 disc brakes and uprights, period bucket seats with williams full harness belts, original radio rebuilt to f.m. racetech exta gauges including rev counter, oil temp and pressure, supercharger boost, multi function rally clock plus 1960"s clock from a mig fighter, fire exstinguisher, 7x15 superlights on 225/50/15, solid rust free california car built at st jose on the 27th of december 1964, imported UK 1990. Older repaint in the original ragoon red in exceellent condition although there are the odd age related stone chips. The largest detailed history folder i have ever seen including previous MOT"s, invoices, magazing aricles, correspondences, ECT, reads like "war and peace" ivoices for in excess of 19,000 spent mostly dated 1997, would be 3x the amount in todays money, this is a genuine factory sprint, now rare even in the USA. Has a added bonus of bening mot and tax except. perfect for next years Goodwood rival classic car park and hill climbs and sprints or taken to the next leval, hard to buy a good modified cortina for this pric and much rarer than just another mustang. <br />
