1964 1/2 (1965 model year) Ford Mustang 289 4.7 V8 with 3-speed C4 Automatic Transmission. Rangoon Red with Palomino bucket seats. Factory optioned with the "D" code 289 4v V8 engine producing 210HP. Ordered with just about every factory option there was including:<br />

Built 4 days before the official on sale date of 17th April 1964 so consequently one of the very first Mustangs ever to be built and referred to as 64 1/2 cars. The winner of many awards at shows in recent years including the Motorfest-Western Park "Best Club American Vehicle" in March 2015. <br />

The subject of an exhaustive restoration after its arrival in the UK and featured in a 4-page American magazine article which comes with the car. It also comes with a detachable tow-bar.... yes a Mustang with a tow-bar! It was an option apparently. We have also just fitted new OE front seat covers.<br />

A very special Mustang that presents in simply outstanding restored condition throughout. Fully colour matched painted underside and boot and detailed engine bay with superb drivability and road manners. Would be a proud addition to any collection and no doubt steal the show at any event you would care to take it to.<br />

Whilst no longer requiring an MOT it has been issued with a new certificate running until October 2019 which, not surprisingly, it passed without advisories. Tax is of course free and it comes with a 6 months warranty.<br />
