For Sale - 1965 Chevrolet El Camino, 350 TPI, Keisler 5-Speed manual, 3.42 Positraction...! <br />

This rust free Arizona El Camino has been completely restored starting back in 2005 when it was painted Dodge Patriot Blue metallic with Silver stripes and has had plenty of upgrades over the years since then! Originally a 327/4 speed truck, in 2010 it got a 4 bolt 350 with TPI fuel injection with Aluminium heads, a mild hydraulic Comp Cam (270 H-10) and Patriot Ceramic coated headers, also fitted with an aluminium radiator with dual electric fans to cope with the Arizona heat! In 2013 the 350 engine got backed by a Keisler RS500 5-speed to replace the original Muncie 4-speed, so now has a nice .67 overdrive! In 2015 the rear axle was rebuilt with a new posi-traction carrier with 3.42 gears. A Vintage Air A/C system has also been installed along with a complete Painless Wiring harness. It has power steering and the brakes have been upgraded to 1970 El Camino discs on the front with new rear drum brakes in the rear. The interior now has a nice set of late Chevy pick-up bucket seats with re-trimmed door panels, a neat period Sun Tach has been installed in the factory gauge panel along with a centre console and Hurst shifter. It has 1968 Chevy Rally wheels and BF Goodrich tyres (225/60 front-245/60 rear) and also has a tow hitch. It"s a really nice go anywhere truck with the capacity to carry plenty of parts on the way! Comes with a large document file of receipts/history etc.<br />

I don t want any wasted time/journeys, so upfront it has.... paint does have a couple of areas where it has some cracks/crazed but is overall in nice driver condition considering this truck was a daily driver back in Arizona last year! I found one small 6 or so patch under the bed, probably from damage, not rust. The rear bumper has a few scrapes and small dings, but a brand new replacement comes with the truck (along with a good used one with 2 semi circular cut outs for a rear exit exhaust system).<br />
