1965 Ford Mustang 289 2+2 Fastback Manual 4 speed <br />

Built in Dearborn USA January 1965<br />
This is a correct A code car and matches up with the vin identification plate<br />
Factory options included in this car 2+2 fold down rear seat with trap door from boot area.<br />
Manual 4 speed top loader Gearbox <br />
V8 Engine, 225 Hp <br />
Paint is fair for its age but has cracking on the boot lid. Finished in Ford Poppy Red paint. ( not to be confused with Rangoon Red) please check Ford"s colour charts for 1965 <br />
Inside the mustang still has its original deluxe Black interior.<br />
Body is original and in good condition.<br />
I imported the car 18 months ago, it went straight from the docks to a garage that specializes in American cars in preparation for its first mot.<br />
It has now had two mot"s at different mot stations and both passed without any advisories.<br />
I have been told by both mot testers that the car is good on the underside. <br />
Lower steering joints were replaced <br />
New shocks have been fitted all around <br />
New rear brake shoes have been fitted <br />
The old front drum brakes have been replaced for servo assisted disc brakes and have been further upgraded to dual circuit brakes. Also had new brake lines fitted <br />
Mota lita steering wheel fitted but I still have the original to go with the car<br />
The four speed toploader gearbox was removed and rebuilt using brand new David Kee parts brought in from the States<br />
It also has a Hurst Shifter<br />
It is fitted with a diagram clutch.<br />
The engine has tri Y headers fitted. <br />
I have also replaced the starter motor for a new high torque starter and its had a new battery. <br />
New tyres and wheel rims fitted in May 2017<br />

Its priced to sell and improve to your own standards, but why when you can hop in and drive anywhere as it is.<br />
