1965 Mustang Fastback imported from Florida 2012 as a project.<br />
It was originally a C coded 289 with a 3 speed gearbox. Finished in green with a black interior.<br />

This has been a complete Nuts& Bolts restoration...... Stripped to a shell, shot blasted and etch primered.<br />
<br />
Total body renovation, new wings,rear quarter panels, tail light panel, rear cross member, left rear frame rail, boot floor, left and right full length floor pans, under rear seat floor pan, inner cowl panel, inner wing under battery tray panel, front cross member and radiator support panel. All seam welded and seam sealed. Paint work finished in 2K Ford Frozen Ice White. Every type of bracket etc was powder coated.<br />
<br />
All bright work outside, mirrors, door handles, bumpers and trims.<br />
Chrome Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tyres. Too many new parts to list, full portfolio and receipts available.<br />
<br />
302 V8 inspected and partially rebuilt engine. 4 barrel Edelbrock carb and intake. New water pump, fuel pump, oil pump and pickup cleaned and inspected. New sump pan. Cylinder heads taken off bores inspected and all ok, heads were skimmed valve seats ok and new inlet and outlet valves fitted also aluminium radiator fitted.<br />

C4 3 speed automatic gearbox overhaul.<br />
<br />
Long tube headers into 21/4" Shelby side exit exhausts.<br />
<br />
Manual disc brakes on the front and drum at the rear.<br />

( It was originally a C coded 289 with a 3 speed manual gearbox. Finished in green with a black interior). Now with new dark red interior, carpet, seatcovers, dash pad, door cards. Interior panesl painted in colour matched red.<br />

Basically its a NEW old car!<br />

It won 1st Best Classic Mustang 2014 in the Tatton Park"s Stars & Stripes Show (Trophy will go with the car).<br />
