For sale is my 1965 mustang 289. Finished in the famous hertz black and gold colour scheme making it a very eye catching car! The bodywork is stunning with absolutely no rust anywhere and the underneath is every bit as good. No rust anywhere on this mustang! The panel gaps are all just as they should be and the paint work is lovely. The wheels are in great condition and look to be nearly new. Interior is very good with unmarked seats, Shelby carpets and Shelby steering wheel along with the dash mounted Shelby rev counter. Engine is very sweet, responsive and smooth with no smoke etc. Runs very well.<br />

Jobs that need doing:<br />
Engine oil leak,<br />
Transmission fluid leak,<br />
Brakes aren"t as effective as they should be,<br />
Squeaking right from damper,<br />
Broken handbrake cable.<br />

This is an honest description of the car. With these issues sorted, this is a 35000+ car.<br />

I would like to keep it but I don"t have the time to sort it out. I know it will be ages before I can get round to sorting any of it due to work etc. Also due to owning another classic I think it"s more sensible for me to stick to that one classic and maybe get something fairly modern rather than having two classics and borrowing garage space etc to keep them both.<br />
