Great opportunity to restore a 1965 V8 Mustang fastback to your spec. I am looking to reduce my stock of Mustang fastbacks, so I am offer just one for sale to be restored. This is a virtually complete 65 fastback with all NOS panels plus most of the difficult parts to find still fitted in the car. This fastback was purchased a few years ago from the Moody family (American racing family) and the clear open title carries their name. <br />

65 Mustang fastback projects very rarely come up for sale and this fastback would suit someone with the skills to restore these great iconic cars. It requires new floor plans and it would suggest a new trunk floor pan. The frame rails are solid and there appears to be no past accident damage. The exterior and interior has surface rust but as this is a Florida car it has not been exposed to the damaging weather of North America. All the glass comes with the fastback, along with the interior. The back seats are the fold down type and the front seats are high back Mustang seats. The fastback comes with a 302 V8 mated to a C4 auto transmission, the 302 can be hand cranked but will require a full service to recommission. These V8 s are bullet proof and to date I have always be able to bring one back running with little effort. <br />

The 65 Mustang fastback is a very sort after classic car and only increase in value year on year and are selling for 40 to 50k. This would make an ideal restoration for a father & son/daughter and become a classic car that can be passed down. Plus, how cool is it to take the Mustang out for a Sunday cruise. <br />

The great thing about restoring a 65 Mustang is you can make it into anything you want from a nice original fastback to a GT350 copy and even a fire breathing road racer, the final picture is a selection of fastbacks l have restored from similar projects. <br />
