965 Mustang Coupe - Shelby GT350H homage<br />

A 1965 Mustang Coupe, built on the 4th May 1965 in San Jose CA. The car was imported into the UK from California. The floor and frame rails are all original and in fantastic condition the hood was damaged and has been replaced the rest of the car is all original.<br />
<br />
It is a numbers matching car with the original 289, 4 barrel v8 with a C4 gearbox which is attached to a period Hurst shifter. The engine block date code is 5D9 which means the engine was built in 1965 (5), April (D), 9th (9). This is consistent with the 4th May car build date. Ford did not stamp the VIN numbers on engines until later in the 60s.<br />
