1966 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door hardtop. Numbers matching car with the 289 Windsor V8 with an automatic column shift. It is a solid honest car with no rot apart from a small hole in the trunk floor which could easily be patched (it"s not in awkward place) as you can see the car has some patina but as mentioned it is straight and solid. I have just fitted a new Edelbrock inlet manifold, a new Edelbrock 500cfm carb, a new Edelbrock air filter and a new Edelbrock fuel filter and fuel line kit. The interior including the roof lining is in fantastic shape apart from needing a new dash cover which you can get from Mac autos for $100. The car drives fantastically well and has had a long list of new bushes and bearings replaced including new rear wheel bearings. The kickdown needs adjusting but never got round to it as it doesn"t really bother me. As you"ll see from the pictures it has the very rare 6 window American Dragmaster slot mag wheels, I also have a pair of smoothies with tyres that will go with the car for the right money, all you"d need is a pair of narrower smoothies for the front.
