1966 Mustang Coupe 289 V8<br />
This is a very original 1966 Ford Mustang I first owned over two years ago. I have just bought her back on a part exchange basis.<br />

Originally a black plate California car and is in rust free condition.<br />
It has nice features like power steering, factory tinted glass, Pony interior, rare original 8 track radio. The door data tag and VIN confirm this original A code 4 barrel carb option car with correct Emberglo paint and matching two tone interior.<br />

Outside the car:<br />
The car is finished in the correct original colour of Emberglo. Please be under no illusions - the quality of the paint is poor to fair all round with good gloss but has a worn through patina in places and several touch ups.<br />
I am currently listing for sale at this great price of 16k although am considering giving the paint job she really deserves which would make this car a 20k plus example. I am able to recommend a very good Midlands paint shop should you wish to go that route.<br />

Generally there are consistent shut lines of the doors, boot and bonnet. Very good chrome all round. There a couple of soft dings and there is a small area of bondo on the drivers door. <br />

Inside the car:<br />
The interior is finished in the correct original combination of Emberglo and Parchment and is a factory Pony interior car. Interior is in good condition. Working rare 8 track audio option. All the gauges work.<br />

Chassis and engine bay:<br />
This Mustang has excellent rust free floor pans and boot. The boot interior retains its original paint. Original and correct looking engine compartment with everything as it should be. There is a minor leak from the transmission which will need new seals to sort and I will get this done before the car is sold. New shocks all round. Recent brake work with new hoses and lines. New H4 headlamps with integrated sidelights and new windscreen washer system. One rear leaf needs slight attention (needs new spring clip)<br />

Driving:<br />
Car drives well with peppy performance and automatic transmission shifting smoothly. Power steering operating correctly. Car rides and handles as it should. Runs a little rich,though has recent new Edelbrock 4 barrel carb.<br />
