1966 Ford Mustang GT 302 V8 Coupe with a new Tremec T5 manual gearbox. Finished in original Ivy Green Metallic with a contrasting Olive Green and Ivory Pony interior and a White Vinyl roof. Factory optioned with 3.00:1 limited-slip differential, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power steering, "Magic-Air" heater, two-speed wipers, Deluxe seatbelts, Tinted glass, Radio, Deluxe Pony upholstery, Pistol-grip door handles and Rally-Pac. New GT Classic Chrome Mustang wheels and set of Cooper Cobra tyres complete the picture.<br />

Built at the Ford factory at Metuchen, New Jersey on 11th May 1966. Fitted with a new 300 bhp 302 V8 crate engine and clutch at a cost of 5000 in 2017. The new 302 is a direct Ford replacement with the added benefit of it being substantially more reliable and able to produce its specified performance. The heater matrix was replaced at the same time so is now set for use in any weather. <br />

A further 10000 has been spent by the current owner on various upgrades and improvements including the Tremec 5-speed gearbox, front disc brakes, wood rim steering wheel, new bushes, rear seat belts, new Bluetooth/hands-free Retrosound radio and speaker.<br />

Only imported in 2015 and given a professional repaint at that time. Except for a new head-lining the interior is original with a lovely aged patina that looks just right for a well-cared for and well maintained 53-year-old classic. With the benefit of its new engine this GT is a pleasure to drive and with the correct care and attention is surely good for another 50 years or so?!<br />

Complete with a UK History file, copy of its original Ford Showroom window data sheet, State of Connecticut Registration and Mustang Owners Club letter confirming its credentials. Also comes with its original Mustang handbook, spare wheel and cover, tools and boot mat. <br />
