For sale is my 66 pontiac ventura<br />
<br />
it comes with a big block 1972 (hardened valves lower cr to run unleaded) 455 oldsmobile engine and th400 automatic gearbox<br />
<br />
the car has had two extra gearbox coolers as it used to tow a caravan<br />
<br />
the wheels are 17" rocket fuels and don"t they suit the car<br />
<br />
to assist stopping it has had a front disc brake conversion along with an uprated master cylinder and servo<br />
<br />
the ignition has been converted to hei to give a bigger spark for the lpg and also petrol<br />
<br />
the best bit is it has been converted to run lpg which it has done for the last 5 years without any problems at all at 50p a litre<br />
<br />
the car will run on expensive petrol as well no problem<br />
<br />
it has had a custom made exhaust two months ago running single cherry bombs either side<br />
<br />
extra gauges have been added to monitor oil pressure, amps,temperature and voltage.<br />
<br />
the fuel gauge works and the speedo reads bang on<br />
<br />
the suspension had all new bushes fitted about five years ago .<br />
<br />
halogen lights have been fitted and the wiring uprated accordingly<br />
<br />
two extra fans have been fitted on a seperate switch in case of overheating when towing but were never required.<br />
<br />
new rear coil springs and air shocks were fitted two years ago.<br />
<br />
sounds are supplied by a head unit in the glovebox and a cd changer under the front seat and an amp,sub woofer and speakers behind the rear seat (who needs music when you have the v8 soundtrack)<br />
<br />
the car is a multiple award winner most recently best muscle at the 2016 nsra fun run and has been magazine featured in american car magazine<br />
<br />
