It"s a great,California car with a very nice interior and low mileage ,I bought it from the dry state and dry storage. I was there on a trip for 3 months and used it as a daily driver instead of a rental car ,the excuse I gave my wife,in truth a sweet reliable ride . The transmission drives quietly, from drive to reverse, smoothly, no whirring with the rear differential as can be common with these vintage cars . -Then I had plenty of work done to her .-Engine -Very strong and quiet/fast, starts up perfect when cold, numbers matching Original 289 with 47000 miles on the clock. She comes with the upgrades, power brakes,power steering and air-conditioning . New power steering pump and steering box. -New sway bar end links ,strut rod kit, new twin exhaust boxes and tail pipes new rear brake lines.Front shocks,rear brake cylinders Full inner and outer tie rod ends and dust seal kit,Upper and lower control arms .High performance coil spring saddles.Basically a new front suspension and steering system.-New electric windshield washer pump system (I ll include the foot pump version if you want to throw it back in for originality it has a new washer gasket installed,just found it awkward to use while driving) .I also have a decal kit for the engine should you want to respray the bay.-Body .The car needed no body work or filling before the new paint as it is accident free (Black CA Plates),The old paint was just tired .New vinyl top.New chrome detailing including perfect original light bezels and lenses. Brand new white walled tires . Very nice un dented original hubcaps . The trunk also has a brand new spare tyre ,w/cover, original hubcap spare and original jack including an old Haynes manual for the model . New window weatherstripping on throughout .All her panels are original american made ,for that matter thats the car just about all-round apart from the new mechanical upgrades mentioned before. On the photo the antenna appears bent , I ve fixed that .-Interior Replaced the cracked steering wheel with a nice period 60 s blue one,put in a new horn contact kit .perfect original Seats no fading very limited wear. Nicely Upgraded Interior lighting to LEDs ,Much Clearer than the dull originals (I ll throw in the original bulbs if you prefer).Very tidy interior all over door cards paint headliner and detailing .-The bodywork I had done in the States, and the mechanicals were installed by an American Classic car expert here in the UK . Since I started the renovation the car hasn t driven more than 100 miles thats from the docks to the mechanic here in the UK.-She has a brand new MOT of course 25th Jan and is ready for spring and summer!!-If thats OK I really like this car, we have had some great times,I won t give her away to fraudsters ,any pay pal scam and no swaps for other motors ,this is not my first rodeo.Cash or postal order ,bank to bank transfer. -Genuine interested parties are naturally welcome, this is a labour of love,fun and work getting the car this nice.
