Meet Sergio, my fully restored 1967 SS Camaro.<br />

This is a complete frame-off restoration. Everything on the car is brand new and fully custom while still maintaining its original tail-lights, rear bumper, chrome trim and windows. This is a fine specimen of a car and an immaculate example of the American classic.<br />

While I ve kept the original look and feel of the Super Sport and he is road legal, he is built to race. <br />

Engine<br />
<br />
A brand-new 9.3L Chevrolet 572 big block V8 pushing out 650bhp. He has never been driven since the rebuild other than in and out of the workshop so zero mileage. Full spec on request.<br />

Transmission<br />
<br />
A B&M Quicksilver automatic with a manual quick-shift. <br />
<br />
The straight gate operation allows you to quickly and smoothly select any gear you want for daily driving from Park to Drive. The ratchet shift feature provides crisp, error-free upshifting and downshifting on the street or track. In the ratchet shift mode, it is impossible to overshift or miss a gear. The vertical lockout design prevents accidental engagement of Reverse during ratchet shifting. <br />

Exhaust<br />
<br />
One of the many fun features is the manually operated straight-through stainless ceramic exhaust. There is a lever under the driver s seat that opens it up. Closed, you can enjoy the normal rumble of the V8. Open it up and you ll hear Sergio s full fury when you put your foot down. He sounds incredible. In fact, the bespoke twin exhausts are a work of art (if, like me, you like that sort of thing).<br />

Body<br />
<br />
Flawless jet-black gloss from top to bottom and the chassis is solid with the body and paint straight as an arrow. There is no rust and the car has been fully under-sealed.<br />

Front<br />
<br />
Original 67 model with SS grille and iconic hideaway headlamps.<br />
<br />
Interior<br />
<br />
Pristine and clean with original restored leather seats, dash, carpets, roof lining, wooden steering wheel, hydraulic handbrake, roll cage and new gauges.<br />
<br />
Tax and insurance<br />
<br />
Registered manufacture is 1967 making it tax exempt (he s already Historic Tax registered on the V5) and insuring him with a classic car specialist is super-cheap. Not bad for a V8 that churns out 650bhp. It complies with all EU regulations and emissions, is road legal, has a brand new MOT and is DVLA registered in the UK.<br />

This model is the first year the Camaro was made, so a truly original car.<br />
