Most D100 s are 6 cylinder manuals, this is pretty rare and a well optioned truck with the V8 and auto. Also the dash shifter and round headlights were only available for a couple of years. The previous owner had it from nearly new and really took care of things, you can tell from looking at the rear bed the truck has not been used for hard work. They went all over CA camping in the back of it.<br />

The truck is stock except for the wider rear wheels and a Holley carb.<br />

One new rear brake cylinder<br />

New engine mounts<br />
Fresh oil and filter<br />
New points and condenser <br />

The engine starts up first time and runs real smooth, I have driven it all over North Devon, the transmission does everything it should. The exhaust is a twin system that sounds ace, not too loud but enough to let people know you are in a V8. The heater works spot on, wipers work etc...<br />

Chinook camper top is easily removable if you want, it needs the wood/rubber replacing where it meets the bed. The glass is all in good condition, the body work is very straight.<br />

I would class the truck as a good running and driving project, niggles such as door rubbers and window felts could do with changing. Being the custom model it has quilted upholstery however the seat base needs to be re-upholstered, there is a big hole on the drivers side. The bottom of the drivers door needs attention as the drain holes were blocked. <br />

It s a great truck with loads of character, viewing encouraged in Braunton, North Devon.<br />
