Sadly I need to sell my Mustang. Lack of time, a growing family and other financial commitments mean it"s time to let go. This car is unique and has covered only a few thousand miles on the new bespoke engine build. it is the 200ci straight six but goes as well as any stock V8 since my upgrades. There is way too much to list as to what"s been done but my restoration thread on the owner"s club website is here:

It is very solid and clean underneath, and has a complete blueprinted engine build including custom made inlet manifold and twin Weber carb setup. The engine bay and cowl were restored and rustproofed - better than new. The cowl is an expensive and time consuming fix and can be an issue on even the shiniest car so be careful if you"re looking at these! All front suspension is completely new or refurbished including having been sandblasted and painted. It drives very well and is respectably quick. 3 speed manual, manual steering, power brake conversion. Rear 3 point seatbelts. Stainless steel exhaust.

There is next to no mechanical work to do on this car. I"d have the carbs balanced and then rolling road it - and I"d love to know the outcome - but time and money are things I no longer have spare amounts of! Otherwise just enjoy it!
Cosmetics are something I didn"t get on to. The pictures flatter it slightly and there are areas that could do with a touch up in the paintwork. There is some previously touched up rust on one rear arch and some pinprick holes in the front bottom corner of the passenger door. These are not big problems and the car is overall very solid and clean - the underside is superb! The rear panel round the lights is showing it"s age and has had some filler. Needs tidying up really. Anyway, if you"re serious you"ll come and have a look. I"ve tried to be honest with my description but people"s expectations of classic cars vary wildly. This Mustang has been my pride and joy. The amount of time, effort and money I have spent shows you that I never planned to sell this car.

Of course I have hundreds of photos of the resto in progress and of the car being shown and enjoyed. I can talk in detail all day about it and am happy to do so.

I have spent a fortune getting the car to this stage. It could do with some cosmetic work to finish, but this is a unique car done the way I wanted and intended to be kept forever. Insurance value is 13,500. I am asking 11,750 for a quick sale.
