Fully rebuilt engine from top to bottom. This started out with a period correct 390FE block sourced from America with a standard size cylinder bore so we could have as much thickness on the cylinder walls as possible (stopping the chance of cracking like many FE s). The block was then bored and honed with a honing plate, decked, line bored, hot tanked and pressure tested. The crank was reground 0.010 on the mains and rod journals, cracked checked and balanced to the rotating assembly. The conrods where then fitted with ARP studs and resized and weight matched. The Speed Pro +0.020 pistons were weight matched with a Total Seal ring pack. It had a Melling high volume oil pump fitted to provide adequate oiling. The cylinder heads are Eldbrock RPM Performer heads with a matched intake manifold and ARP head studs. The cam is a custom cam that we had ground for the motor. It also has chromoly push rods and Shaft roller rockers. It has an electronic ignition system and is fueled by Holley Sniper Fuel Injection. The good point about this is it still looks like a carburetor but has the functuality of fuel injection, so no more messing around with choke or flooding the engine. The ECU also has additional outputs if the owner ever wanted to add features, such as power adders.

It"s an original FE big block with correct numbers but it s now producing 450-500 bhp. This is where most of the 20,000 was spent. It s basically a brand-new race engine and extremely powerful and very loud.

The interior is in very good condition, this is not a tired old interior as you can see in the pictures. It has been very well reupholstered in the recent past.

External Paint work is in quiet good condition; however, the roof will need a respray (I have photographed this to show you, this can be done at an extra cost).

This car was a high spec car in its time being an S- Code with Factory fitted power disc brakes, Power steering, A/c (I have currently removed this whilst I"ve been rebuilding the car as we wanted to get everything else sorted on the car first), rear bucket seats, Limited slip diff.

This car is real head turner, you can t go anywhere in it without being stopped by someone that wants to compliment you about the car. Taken it to a few shows over the years and it always goes down very well.

I have millions of pictures, videos and tonnes of paperwork.

Our customer is not in a rush to sell but is selling due to fancying a new project.

This is a Jump in and Drive it car it is fuel injected and doesn t have all the problems associated with carburettors.

Please message me if you have any questions, viewing is more than welcome.

No test pilots, you will not be test driving it unless the money is in our possession. I will be more than happy to take you on any test drive in the car, for as long as you wish, but due to the nature of the vehicle these are the conditions.
