1968 Mustang GT 390 2+2 in gorgeous Candyapple Red with a red interior, silver side stripes, and factory GT wheels. Very nice car from North Carolina with documentation, the Marti Report, and only 45,800 miles. The original 390/325 horse engine has never been apart and is factory stock. Still fitted with the original chrome valve covers, original intake & exhaust manifolds, and original air cleaner assembly. Runs perfectly on premium pump and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. Pulls HARD through the rev range, spins the tires with the throttle, and runs like a Mustang GT should with the big block HP390. The factory heavy-duty C6 automatic shifts properly and the factory Fod 9" 3.25 posi rearend provides strong acceleration while providing relaxed highway driving. Power steering and power disc brakes for safe and effortless manoeuvring.<br />

Very nice red bucket seat interior with the center console and folding rear seat. Factory floor shifter and in-dash factory 8000 tachometer. Everything works; the lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, fog lights, and heater except for the original factory fitted radio. The dash has been correctly recapped and a pricey LeCarrera steering wheel installed. Excellent carpets and interior door panels. Very nice original red headliner and very nice center console. <br />

Excellent original body with the factory pinch welds and body sequence stamps. Always a North Carolina car; original floor pans and original quarters and I cannot find any rust, replacement panels, or patches. The previous owner verified that the mileage is correct and the service records verify that. Correct T-code Candyapple Red paint. Excellent chrome bumpers front & rear. Excellent chrome GT quik-fill gas cap. Excellent factory GT wheels with chrome center caps. Report is included that verifies the car"s authenticity as a genuine factory red/red interior 390 GT 2+2. Very nice matching number survivor car. Comes with 12 months MOT. <br />
