Im 41 years old and always dreamed of owning a General Lee from a small boy. Well I worked hard and have been luckily enough to fulfill that dream and its with a heavy heart Im selling him. Its been a love hate relationship since I imported him. He has fought me all the way. To start with he kept eating front wheel bearings, these have now been changed to greens bearings and had no problems since. I then had issues with rear wheel studs, they have now been oversized and no more issues there. He is now at a point where I can be confident in him. I imported him from Buffalo, New York State about 2 years ago. He was used for for advertising purposes for the 2006 movie BUT the seller didnt send my the documents to prove it although I have personally seen them. Its based on a series 1 episode 1 General Lee, purists will bitch about the length of the nudge bar but hey everyone has an opinion right! He is caged out but to be honest is more of a pain in the arse and Ive often thought of removing it but it kinda looks right. CB works and also has a PA system tucked under the hood, which I find amusing to use. Be warned you will get unindated with people following you to get photos taken with him etc.. NO THE DOORS ARE NOT WELDED UP, everytime I stop for fuel I get asked

The car: He is a 383 big block, stock motor but picks him heels up nicely and easy to overtake. 3sp gearbox that shifts nicely and smooth. Stops straight and true.I upgraded the front to discs to help stop him as on drums all round he was lazy, and thats scary when trying to stop with nearly 2 ton of car pushing you. In my quest to find 0.3 of a second Ive put on a preformer RPM intake and have a 750cfm carb to put on, still in the box. I do have the original cast intake if you prefer to go back. As I like to drive my cars all year round he was undersealed when I got him, back to bear metal, no rust and then undercoated with some German stuff. Has a DANA 60 rear end with cruising gears in the diff hence why he runs 15.3 seconds at 91mph on the dragstrip.. Just for show I fitted a line lock, and he produces alot of smoke
Interior: 85% front seats are worn but not ripped or torn, just aged. Im sure a bit of work and leather conditioner would help. Rear seats, I dont know, never been back there but not ripped or torn. Has a centre console which I believe is a rare thing to have as most where removed, why you would I have no idea! As said caged out but hinders access and means you cant push the seats back, so if your over 6ft 3 and/or overweight id stop reading now! Unless you take the cage out. Nothing on the dashboard works but if it did you wouldnt see it as the rev counter obstructs that view.
Paint: 99%. I spend 3k on the paint getting him perfect and then a few weeks later I forgot a pallet on the driveway and brushed against it, yep I shouted and cried. So now has a ripple in the passenger rear quater. The hideaway lights work as they should. Anything you think of about a general its on him and correct. The decals, the lights , the push bar to the whip antenna

Now the rules: Please come and see him for yourself, this is my rose tinted view of him, it may not be yours. I have been as honest as I can but opinions differ. I will not be lowballed. The cars can stay with me for as long as I get the value I want. For how rare, condition and reliability of this classic vehicle I thinks its a very fair value. Message me on here or text me on 07966672923. Text first as I dont answer unknown calls as I have a fear of phones!! I will assist on shipping this car anywhere in the world or come and collect and drive him home..Hey pay me and I will drive him to you! Car will not leave my ownership until funds are cleared..Once bought there is no going back, sold as seen so do come and check him over

CAPITALS AS YES I AM SHOUTING.. YOU ARE NOT COMING HERE TO DRIVE HIM AND/OR JUMP OVER ANYTHING. YOU WILL NOT SIT ON THE DOORS TO HAVE PHOTOS TAKEN ETC.. you can do all that when you own him, and fix him again when youve broke him, it isnt like the show made you think, although his arse does hang out easily if you desire that!

Go get yourself a childhood dream car just like I did, we only live once and a 1969 Charger will always go up in value.
