1970 Shelby Cobra GT 350.<br />

Candy Apple red with gold stripes and a black interior. This Shelby is equipped with a four speed manual gearbox, 3:25 traction lock axle, and has approximately 84000 original miles with old MOTs to prove.<br />

I purchased the car in the early 2000 s and proceeded to supervise a restoration to factory specifications. The car was sent to a company who stripped it to a bare shell and placed it on a rotisserie, ready for the restoration to commence.<br />
As the previous owner had always garaged the car there was only a very small amount of bodywork to contend with, so all the original quarters, doors, floors etc. were retained, as were all the fibreglass panels.<br />
All the mechanical components were rebuilt and are also original to the car.<br />
Since the restoration, the Shelby has been meticulously maintained and driven sparingly in dry weather only, it therefore remains in outstanding condition.<br />
I have a large amount of invoices that relate to the expenditure on the restoration, plus the parts shipped in from the USA, it totals to a significant amount.<br />

This Shelby Mustang retains its original engine and 4 speed gearbox. The car offers a superb drive and is ready to be used and enjoyed immediately and can be shown if desired.<br />
