Here for sale is my beloved 1971 Plymouth Sport Fury. A very rare car here in the UK. I have owned this car for 6 years and loved every minute of it. But its now time for a change. Normally I only keep a car for a couple of years, but this one was so good I just couldn"t sell her...till now.<br />

The car has been featured in Classic American Magazine, which I will supply a copy of. In the USA it has won many shows and I will supply the plaque certificates and tankard, etc.. ..<br />

I have an inspected agreed value insurance on her for 15,000. See the photo of the certificate. So grab a bargain. I want 2K less than this for a quick sale.<br />

About the car:<br />

Its a non matching numbers 383 V8 4bbl, with a 3 speed 727 Auto. I was told by a previous US owner that he fitted a 1972 Chrysler Newport station wagon engine in it. This is supposedly the strongest 383 you can get. Both Engine and box run perfect. Carb was fully rebuilt and again runs perfect.<br />

It has the SureGrip rear axle which again works great and give great traction off the line.<br />
<br />
It is fitted with Rocket Racing wheels and they are like new as are the tyres. It has a stainless big bore PowerFlo exhausts that sound amazing.<br />
<br />
I have just fitted a brand new AC Delco power steering box. The old one had a leak from the output gear.<br />

The colour is a one off for 1971 on this model. It was requested by the selling dealer Leesport of Pennsylvania. Only 1200 4 door hard tops were made that year.<br />

Yes I know its a 4 door C body. That"s why its 13K. Look at other Fury"s that aren"t half as good as this and they are going for 15K, so mine is priced fairly to sell. If it doesn"t sell this year I will sell it next spring and the price will be 15K, no less.<br />

This car always draws a crowd due to its massive size (you will need at least 2 spaces at Tescos) and its gorgeous colour. Its done only 7000 miles in the last 7 years. Nearly all dry weather to shows.<br />

Finally in summary..............<br />

It goes, it stops, it looks great, everything works. But, no its not a trailer queen worth 30K, it has the odd blemish or mark in the paint here and there. I will also throw in the heavy duty car cover for it. Rare to find one big enough!<br />

I will be genuinely sad to see this car go. But it is time I had a change.<br />
