I have for sale my 1973 Plymouth Duster. Built at the Hamtramck factory on 17th April 1973 for the Canadian market. The car is 95% stock and is excellent condition for its age.

Spec:
225ci Slant 6 with Holley 1 barrel carb.
Manual Steering.
Manual Brakes (Drum all round).
904 Auto and 7.25 rear end.

Canadian (Ontario) car all of its life until imported in January last year (2016).
I have some of the history showing its previous Canadian owners.
Being a 73 its tax free. Even has original bumper jack in the trunk.

Car is Dark green with gold interior. It was originally golden haze gold when it left the factory (Hamtramck). I would guess it was painted in the 90s to its now green colour. Paintwork is very good, but not perfect.

The condition of the metalwork is astounding. It must have spent a lot of time in a garage as it"s in better shape than my California car. Doors shut and don t drop on opening. Trunk area is rock solid as are all the body panels.

Carb has been rebuilt during my ownership.
New Upper and Lower Radiator hoses plus a new Alternator Belt.

Interior is very good with only a rip in the driver s seat. Rear bench is perfect, slight wrinkle in the dash cap, but other than that very presentable. All the gauges work too.

Previous Canadian owner put in a new gas tank and sender, plus also fitted a new exhaust system from the manifolds back. These dump prior to the rear wheels and have a flowmaster muffler on it.

Fully registered in the UK with all taxes paid and plates on.

The dog dish caps do not come with the car.

A great way into a Solid Mopar for someone

Reason for sale.....Unfortunately the birth of our second child and the loss of the wife"s earnings means that in reality, it s going to be years before I can do what I want with this.
It also means that I cannot continue on the Dart which has been mothballed for a while (and I"m eager to get back on track with it).
So with reluctance it s up for sale.
Note:
The car is currently out of MOT (Jan 17).
I drove it to the Hot Rod Drags at Shakespeare County Raceway back in Sept last year, where the brakes failed en route.
It currently has nothing in the way of brakes (Air in the lines/Binding rear drums).
I just don"t have the disposable income or time to rectify this at the moment, so someone has the chance to buy this at a knock down price......The sale of the car is as it stands today.

It will need to be tailored away.
