1973 chevrolet monte carlo 5.7 v8 small block, this car was sold to the last owner in los angeles california by last owner brother [he lives there] and driven across america then shipped back to the uk in 1993 he had the car until 2015 when i purchased it . i drove it for 6 months to see if needed anything all good, what a great noise from the v8 paint work was sound but dull, so i gave it the rat look got some rust paint from america this has metal particles in it that rust so its the paint thats rusty not the body work then added my paint job ,i was looking for what i call the desert rat look been in the desert 40 years look <br />
the car runs well starts and go,s fine engine rebuilt by last owner all good, bit of rust here and there but fairly solid and you can drive anywhere no prob some things don,t work rev counter heater fan dash lights air con electric seats this won,t stop it running i just drive it don,t worry about it and love the v8 now it,s mot free and tax free last mot run out in oct 2018 70 a year insurance so 1.50 A WEEK TO KEEP just put petrol in and go<br />
