Hi there,

I have for sale a 1974 Corvette Stingray with a 400cu ( 6.6l) V8 engine.

The car is in overall good condition, but depending on what you planned on doing with the car it does need some attention to the interior and some of the bodywork has some scratches, knocks and other little bits that have accumulated over 45 years.

The interior is all original Velour, which have no rips or tears in them. The Door cards are functional but a little tatty but complete. The dash and gauges are working.

The car is a T-Top model and the mechanism on the tops is perfect, but one has a small damaged corner where it"s been dropped before i think, but quite minor.

The engine is spot on, it runs great, a bit of whining from the belts as its been sat for a while in a garage, but nothing concerning. the only issue which i am going to sort is the fuel filter pipe needs replacing as it will only start and run with a bit of fuel in the carbs, once running its fine, but there is a kink in one hose which we think is causing this.

The car has brand new tyres and they are perfect for the car, white writing on the walls and go with the stance and look of it well i think.

The car only has 2 owners from new, both of which were in the same family. I bought it off the son who unfortunately inherited it from his father who passed away. Both were in to their cars and was a nice trip out to meet him. 57,000 original miles from new also.

Once Polished the car looks absolutely fantastic and any blemishes really do get lost in the shiny deep black paint and the roar of that V8. But by no means is it a minter!

Would be ideal for someone looking for a nice winter project that wont involve too much overly skills knowledge and who likes a tinker!

Runs and drives and brakes, Handbrake works, lights work (needs a vacuum pipe for the pop ups 10).

Realistically prices at 12,500

I am more than happy to answer any questions you have, provide pictures and videos of the car as requested. but i do ask that if you are planning on viewing, that you don"t let me down, it is a 170 mile round trip for me to visit the unit where it is stored and i would appreciate serious enquiries only.
