Very reluctant sale but sadly need the money for other projects.<br />
This is a 1974 Ford LTD brougham, which is the pillared model with the frameless windows, and the last of the true "full size" fords which will seat 6 in comfort. It has the cleveland 400ci V8 (6.6L) with 3 speed auto transmission which is really smooth and nice to drive, likewise it has power steering so very easy to manoevre. <br />
It came in from Idaho in 2015 and since being registered here has only covered a few thousand miles. <br />
When it came to me it had a badly peeling vinyl roof, as this was going to be a rot trap I removed it amd painted the roof white, it isn"t a perfect job by any means but it has stopped it going rusty and fits in with the patina of the car - up close most of the original paint work has been desert blasted and sunburned but it comes up a little better with a polish. The chrome on the bumpers is in good order. <br />
Last year the car was fitted with a custom made stainless powerflow exhaust at a cost of over 700.<br />
It has also had fitted a brand new brake servo. All 4 tyres are excellent also.<br />

Of course it is TAX FREE, MOT runs out during November but it has only covered maybe 500 miles since the last one.<br />

AC pump is U/S but I will include a good used spare that needs fitting and gassing.<br />
Some localised areas of welding required around both rear wheel arches (not at all bad and years before an MOT fail!)<br />
Slight vacuum leak from AC control behind dashboard.<br />
Slight exhaust manifold gasket leak.<br />
Would benefit from a new set of door seal weatherstrips (can show you where to get them too!)<br />
Would drive anywhere in this car!<br />
Gutted to have to sell but needs must!

Have a set of 4 period lincoln alloy wheels I bought for this car, these will be available to the buyer by negotiation.<br />
