My 1977 A.M.C Hornet has been my daily driver for the last 7 years and has never let me down, I believe in classic vehicles being used all the time (see my other listing!), the 4.2 straight six engine starts first time every time and no expense has been spared on maintaining it mechanically over the years, just last month 500 was spent on making sure it passed the M.O.T with all the advisories taken care of too, new copper brake pipes custom made where needed and all spare parts genuine either bought from RockAuto.com or bought back from the states myself! <br />

An original rear chrome bumper was found at a yard in Nevada and shipped over in January as the old one had been cut in the past to make room for an ugly bolt on fog light. <br />
<br />
Internally the upholstery is absolutely perfect and original but does need a couple of seams re-stitching in front (pictured), dash, roof lining, carpets are perfect, there is a key for the doors and boot but a new ignition barrel is needed (starts with the original thumb twist ignition (used this way for last three years)).<br />
<br />
Only issues on the body are corrosion on the rear nearside door (pictured) and a 50p sized patch on the grill near under the windscreen and a patch on the drivers door. I"ve always liked my vehicles as original as possible and as such I"ve never been worried about getting a re-spray but I understand that whoever buys the car may want to. <br />

Overall an amazingly original and very rare car to be enjoyed straight away and sort the above issues out (if they bother you) at your leisure.
