Restored 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. 400cu inch V8 engine. Auto gearbox. 2 door coupe not T-top (no leaks!)<br />
Originally owned by Tony Dickson of UK drag racing fame, this car has been restored over the years to be as original as possible but retaining the engine mods done by Tony. The engine (original 6.6litre V8) has been modified with high compression heads from a late sixties Ram Air engine (350hp) together with Edelbrock Pontiac performer inlet and Holley 750 vac sec and Edelbrock Performer Plus cam. Engine stripped and checked. New Oil pump, water pump, fuel pump, starter etc. Probably 350 - 380hp. Bodily restored and repainted the original Cameo White. Original interior (de lux light blue) with re-dyed hard plastic and new headlining. All new rubber seals. Rebuilt suspension and new brakes and pipes. 95% finished. Comes with spare new tyres (new ones already on the back, good ones on the front) manuals (workshop and body manuals) and original drivers handbook.
