I am offering this stunning matching numbers 1979 corvette for sale. Custom chameleon and matt black bodywork with gorgeous American racing wheels.<br />
Looks and sounds awesome, turn s heads everywhere it goes. This extremely reliable and comfortable High Performance Muscle Car has been subject to some serious restoration<br />
The car was completely restored and rebuilt in the states. She runs and drives beautifully. She has good oil pressure with no knocks and moves through her gears smoothly.<br />
The matching numbers engine has been re built using chrome headers, dipstick and dress kit. It has a brand new Edelbrock performer series carb, chrome air filter, new starter motor, a brand new gearbox and transmission, re built brake calipers, new light actuators, new mufflers (it previously had a straight through custom racing exhaust but I added a muffler on each side, it is still very loud, but no longer ridiculous loud), expensive Sony stereo system with blue tooth, hands free kit and has just had a full service including plugs, oil, filters and brake fluid.<br />

The car has no leaks of oil or any other fluid, runs beautifully, drives beautifully and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.<br />

MOT till 3rd May 2017, Insurance is only 200! A truly usable daily driver that is such a pleasure to drive, easy to park thanks to Power Steering, stops on a dime thanks to (newly overhauled) Power Brakes. The soundtrack with the windows down is the best entertainment though. Remove the targa roof and enjoy the wind in your hair.<br />
The body has a striking gold chameleon custom paintwork. Meaning it changes colours you walk around the car. The roof panels are mirrored. The roof bar and back panel are in a contrasting matt black. This car has SERIOUS presence J. Someone has spent an absolute fortune having the car painted chameleon and to my mind it makes the car, but it is not new. It was done before the previous owner brought the car (and he owned it in Maryland for 5 years). The paint is nice but has the odd stone chip/scratches and there is an area at the point of the front bumper, just above the reg plate, where it has been knocked and gone over with a touch up pen.<br />
